I'm Ashley, a Scottish filmmaker passionate about story telling and preserving moments in time.
Put simply, I love weddings. Capturing relationships, human connection and love in all its forms is a privilege I hope I never take for granted.
Choosing the right videographer for your wedding is a big decision. After all, we’re with you for your whole day. The way I see it, you should choose someone you wouldn’t mind inviting as a guest. Someone you can relax around, that puts you at ease. So with that said, here’s a little about me.
There's something about being able to preserve life's most important memories that makes me believe I truly have the best job in the world. I'm a big believer of the little things being the big things, and I want to fill your wedding film to the brim with all the tiny magical moments that amount to one of the best days of your life.
If you're a camera shy couple, I see you! I know the feeling of tensing up and feeling awkward around cameras. To me, the most beautiful moments are captured when no one is aware they're being filmed, and that's why I work the way I do.
With discreet filming equipment, I blend seamlessly into your day. I'll chat away to your guests and maybe even find myself a wee apprentice for the day (see below photo!). Ultimately I want to put you and your guests at ease so you can remain in-the-moment.
The place I call home is the beautiful island of Islay on the west coast of Scotland where I live with my golf-obsessed partner Sam and our gorgeous doggo, Tansy. Whilst I love being able to edit a film with a view of the sea from my window, I absolutely love that travel is such a big part of my job. I'm available all around the UK and abroad for weddings and wee wild elopements.
